Suleiman Barau Kadana is the founder and CEO of Talakawa Focus Initiative (TAFI). He is a seasoned development practitioner with over 30 years of experience in community development, public health, and social transformation across Northern Nigeria. Holding advanced qualifications in Agriculture, Water Resources Engineering, Education, and Public Health, he has dedicated his life to empowering vulnerable populations, strengthening local capacities, and driving sustainable solutions.

He has led several impactful programs in healthcare, WASH, education, agriculture, gender equity, and peacebuilding. His work emphasizes community participation, sustainability, and grassroots empowerment—ensuring that marginalized voices are heard and equipped to shape their future.
